As mentioned in one of the many admired quotes of Michael Bernard Beckwith, a multi awarded humanitarian and envoy of peace, a man with an awesome world vision of a unified human family, personal development and non-sectarian spiritual growth for every man, woman, and child. His magnificent works in his quest includes selfless service to alleviate human suffering, and the perpetuation of our planet’s environmental resources.
In the 1970’s Michael began his inward journey  into the teachings of East and West, and today teaches universal truth principles found in the New Thought-Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality.
Gifted with a revelation of a trans-denominational spiritual community, in 1986 he founded the Agape International Spiritual Center upon his devotion in that original vision. Agape’s outreach programs feed the homeless, serve enslaved individuals and their families, and globally build and support orphanages whose children have survived the depredation of war and AIDS.
Michael was one of the featured teachers in The Secret movie and the bestselling book by the similar name that followed “The Secret” film, wrote Spiritual Liberation (which won the Gold Medal Nautilus Book Award Inspirations of the Heart, which was a Nautilus Book Award finalist; Forty Day Mind Fast Soul Feast; A Manifesto of Peace; and Living from the Overflow).
Lately described in “What Is Enlightenment?” magazine as a “non-aligned trans-religious progressive,” Michael shares his influential fervor of creating the “Beloved Community” through his active contribution on international panels with other peacemakers and spiritual leaders including Dr. T. Ariyarante of Sri Lanka, and Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mohandas K. Gandhi. Furthermore, Michael is a co-founder of the Association for Global Thought, an organization devoted to planetary healing and change for the better, integral entity.

Thousands gather weekly to receive encouragement from him at the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, California. Michael, together with his wife Rickie have written lyrics and music presented by the Agape International Choir in concert venues globally. Always in demand, their performances stir up peace and goodwill in the global community. Indeed, Michael shares his life with his wife, their four adult children, six grandchildren and the rest of the people who look to them as an inspiration.
