In 1981, the world marveled on how a man, almost dead, was able to survive a catastrophic plane crash. Morris Goodman, or the man who would later became well regarded as “The Miracle Man“, hit the headlines again when he recovered from his horrific injuries as if nothing happened.
The incident made a great change in Morris’ whole life and opened a new chapter on his purpose in living. Despite the miserable findings that he was told, that he would never walk, speak, or function normally again, today Morris travels around the world to share the good news about God and himself, testifying the miracle in his life, inspiring and uplifting thousands of people with his outstanding story. Morris with his wife, Cathy Goodman, were both featured in the hit movie phenomenon and book The Secret, telling their own inspiring story of healing.
Morris said that the only thing he had to work with in the hospital was his mind, and once the mind speaks, it can put things back together again. Doctors said that he’d never breathe on his own again because his diaphragm was already destroyed. Day and night, a little voice kept whispering to him, “Breathe deep, and breathe deep”, and finally he was weaned from it. Morris walked out of the hospital with his own two feet. Doctors and all those who witnessed him, just kept wondering how everything was falling into place perfectly, looking for some explanations which are really hard to find.
Morris could not afford to allow anything to come into his mind that would distract him from his goal and from his vision. He has made documentaries of his life that contribute a lot in the worldwide phenomenon “The Secret”, inspiring all people and individuals all over the world, that no matter how impossible things may seem, by the power of mind and faith that it is possible, no miracle is out of reach.
